Varkala is a holy land in Kerala which is located in the Capital city of Trivandrum.  Sivagiri  is a pilgrimage centre in  Varkala ,  where one of its social reformer and sage  Sree Narayana Guru 's tomb is located and place where guru was enlightened and got the salvation. The  Samadhi  (the final resting place) of the Guru here attracts thousands of devotees every year during the Sivagiri Pilgrimage days 30 December to 1 January. Sree Narayana Guru's Picture The Sivagiri Mutt is also the headquarters of the  Sree Narayana Dharma Sangham , an organization of his disciples and saints, established by the Guru to propagate his concept of 'One Caste, One Religion, One God'. The Guru Deva Jayanti, the birthday of the Guru, and the samadhi day are celebrated in August and September respectively every year. Colourful processions, debates and seminars, public meetings, cultural shows, community feasts, group wedding and rituals mark the celebrations. V

Eravikulam National Park located in Munnar is a well - maintained National Park where the animals who are at the verge of extinction are taken special care. This National Park is  administered by the Kerala Department of Forests and Wildlife,  The Western Ghats, Anamalai Sub-Cluster, including all of Eravikulam National Park, is under consideration by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee for selection as a World Heritage Site. Rock Garden is a collection of wonders where different statues carved out of different stones like marbles, granites etc are showcased and even innovative sculptures are made out of waste products. This is one of the famous tourist attractions of Palakkad district in Kerala. Rock Garden from Outside! A Farmers Life! It is situated near the famous Malampuzha Dam and is maintained by the District Tourism Promotion Council of Palakkad District in Kerala. The artifacts are made out of waste materials like plastic bottles, cans, granites, stones, electricity fuse carriers etc. The garden is a master work of sculptor Padmasree Neck Chand Saini. His rock garden in Chandigarh is world famous and attracts thousands of tourists every year. The art and cultural forms of Kerala find a prominent place in the settings.
