The Architectural Glory!!! |

Tall Pillar just on the premises of the temple |
The Chennakesava Temple is found at
Somanathapura. it's one of the best samples of Hoysala design. The temple was engineered by Soma,
a commander in 1268 C.E. under the leadership of Hoysala king Narasimha III.
The temple is housed within a powerful high walled enclosure and also the entrance
to the buileding is through a structure with tall
pillars. The Keshava temple standouts are collectively known as one of the best the Hoysala architects made. Its symmetrical design, fine sculptures on equally outstanding shrines,
and panel reveal the fine style of architeccture. Consistent
with the Mysore archaeologic reports, it had been engineered by the renowned creator and sculptor Ruvari Malithamma.
The temple that is made on a platform could be a trikuta
(triple shrine) and totally satisfies that name as all shrines have
a structure that's intact. The outer walls of all 3 shrines,
their towers are equally well embellished, creating it overall a awfully well
balanced style. The temple stands on a platform. It closely follows the arrangement of the
temple exterior and there's a gallery with pillars right along the
enclosure of the temple which is complicated and adds to the impact. There's one flight of steps that results in the
platform and one that leads from the platform to the mantapa.
