Namdroling Tibetian Monastery

Namdroling Tibetian Monastery is a monastery on the way to Kushalnagar in Coorg. The beauty of this place begins right from its gate. There are beautiful buildings with Golden colour as a dominating colour in all the buildings which adds to the beauty of the entire place. A group of Tibetian monks reside and practice their rituals and lifestyle in this place. A must admit factor is the well – maintained ambience of this place.

The Beautiful Monastery!

If I say that only monks stay here, I would be wrong because equal importance is given to birds and plants. The garden is properly maintained and the birds are nurtured according to their needs. The buildings of this place have a special beauty and spending time here will give a pleasant experience. This is one of the best places to relax and forget the worries and tensions of life.
The main building showcases lots of paintings related to Tibetian culture and lifestyle. We can even see the instruments they use for daily prayers and rituals. Three statues (made of gold) of Lord Buddha in different poses can be seen in the main building where the prayers take place. Even the model of the place is displayed there. The prayer hall is beautiful and well – decorated. The temple has His Holiness, Shri. Dalai Lama’s photograph displayed as the main attraction.
The Statues of Lord Buddha

This place is located in Bylakuppe in Mysore. This monastery is a home to the Sangha Community of over five thousand lamas (Both monks and nuns), a religious college (or shedra) and hospital. The best way to access this place is to travel through Mysore – Coorg Road. A visit to this monastery indeed reveals the other side of the life of a human being. As William Keats says, “Beauty lies in the eyes of the Beholder”, It is us who are to decide whether a place is beautiful or not. Some places may appeal to some people while it may not appeal to others.s

Being respectful - Part 2

Things began changing for both Jon and James. As you could imagine, Jon hated James since childhood and used to snatch various opportunities James used to get. However, Jon's company began to feel the pressure as they found out that various employees began to quit the job due to the rigorous management of the company.  Jon wanted the employees to work overtime and had plans to extend the working hours for the day. He had also made it clear that there won't be any hike in salary or extra pay for overtime. This infuriated the workforce and people began quitting the job.  Jon continued barking down the orders on his workforce and demanded respect for each of his actions. People around him were fed up with his demands. One of the workers walked into Jon's office and told him how rude, arrogant and entitled he sounded. The company was on the verge of going bankrupt and Jon was pondering on how things went downhill as he still believed that he had managed the company to perfectio...
