Wayanad - A Heaven in God's Own Country!!!

Wayanad District is a district in the north-east of Kerala state with headquarters at the town of Kalpetta. The district was formed  as the 12th district in Kerala by carving out areas from Kozhikode and Kannur districts. The district is 3.79% urbanised, with only one municipal town of Kalpetta.
Wayanad district is in the southern tip of the Deccan Plateau.  In the centre of the district hills are lower in height while the northern area has high hills. The eastern area is flat and open.
The region was known as Mayakshetra (Maya's land) in the earliest records. Mayakshetra evolved into Mayanad and finally to Wayanad.
Beauty of Wayanad
The Folk etymology of the word says it is a combination of Vayal (paddy field) and Naad (land), making it 'The Land of Paddy Fields'. There are many indigenous tribals in this area.
It is the least populous district in Kerala.
Unlike all other 13 districts of Kerala, in Wayanad district, there is no town or village named same as the district (i.e., there is no "Wayanad town").
Wayanad is the only district in Kerala that shares border with both the neighboring states Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Wayanad shares border with Kozhikode, Kannur, and Malappuram districts in Kerala; Nilgiris district in Tamil Nadu; and Chamarajanagar,Mysore, and Kodagu (Coorg) districts in Karnataka.

Being respectful - Part 2

Things began changing for both Jon and James. As you could imagine, Jon hated James since childhood and used to snatch various opportunities James used to get. However, Jon's company began to feel the pressure as they found out that various employees began to quit the job due to the rigorous management of the company.  Jon wanted the employees to work overtime and had plans to extend the working hours for the day. He had also made it clear that there won't be any hike in salary or extra pay for overtime. This infuriated the workforce and people began quitting the job.  Jon continued barking down the orders on his workforce and demanded respect for each of his actions. People around him were fed up with his demands. One of the workers walked into Jon's office and told him how rude, arrogant and entitled he sounded. The company was on the verge of going bankrupt and Jon was pondering on how things went downhill as he still believed that he had managed the company to perfectio...
