The scenic Kalka Shimla Railway, a narrow gauge track, is listed in the Guinness Book of Records for the steepest rise in altitude in a distance of 96 km. The city has three railway stations with Shimla as the main station. A collection of paintings, jewellery and textiles of the region can be found at the State Museum. Shimla is also home to South Asia's only natural ice skating rink. The temples of Shimla shows the excellent stonework of the architects there. The sculptors have proved their mettle in upholding the art of Shimla.
