Botanical Garden, Pondicherry - A mesmerising world of Flora

Botanical Garden.. the name itself says it all... A Garden filled with rare, beautiful and medicinal plants.

I recently went to the garden with my friends to relax from the hectic work schedule. As it was a Saturday, people of all age groups were found sitting scattered in the park.

Entrance of Botanical Garden

There was joy train ride available for kids as well as adults. The train took us through a mini tunnel and then it went around the garden where a pretty arch bridge stood with all its glory. We started walking around the garden and found a lot of trees and plants. The branches of the trees were facing the people so that one may feel that they are welcoming you.

We went to see the green house A huge variety of flora was awaiting our view. The view cannot be described in words. It was colourful and pretty. Even the mini museum of plants had a good collection of various plants.

Musical fountain would open only after 6:30 as mentioned by the authorities. We didn't wait longer because we had to go back to all those stressed lifestyle from the next day.. Yes. You got it..we had to go to office the next day.

So we had some refreshments and returned back to our busy lives.
