How Travelling Influence Young Minds - Power of Travelling (Part 1)

She was looking at a distance with a fixed stare. She was excited on what will happen during this long distance journey with her family. She was thinking of how she will explain it to her friends once she returns back from the trip.  An old lady came into the compartment begging for money. Most of the people avoided her. The girl was having food. She felt pity for the lady and gave her a piece of bread. The old lady was impressed and happily left.

Next morning, they got down at the railway station and the girl heard the announcement through the loudspeaker. The voice said, "Attention passengers.. Train num........" She started walking through the crowd holding the hands of her parents.

They had come down to visit Kerala all the way from Mumbai. They went to the hotel by a cab and took rest. The backwaters really impressed the girl. They went for a small journey on the houseboat. The calmness and serenity, the life of the local people - the girl was observing everything. They had also opted for sight seeing through backwaters. Once they were returning, due to some technical problems, they had to walk through a small way back to the hotel.

She saw a small boy fishing and kids playing around in the area. the houses of the localites were so small that she even wondered how they stay there. Her brother tripped on a stone and fell down. his knees started bleeding. The parents were worried. They seeked for help from the house closeby. They were ready to offer help by providing all necessary first aid.

The girl thought, We live in an apartment luxuriously with proper food and basic facilities. We don't communicate much with the neighbours. But it's wonderful here in the villages! People lack proper facilities but if something happens to someone, everyone is ready to help each other.

Things began changing for both Jon and James. As you could imagine, Jon hated James since childhood and used to snatch various opportunities James used to get. However, Jon's company began to feel the pressure as they found out that various employees began to quit the job due to the rigorous management of the company.  Jon wanted the employees to work overtime and had plans to extend the working hours for the day. He had also made it clear that there won't be any hike in salary or extra pay for overtime. This infuriated the workforce and people began quitting the job.  Jon continued barking down the orders on his workforce and demanded respect for each of his actions.
