Tourist Destinations of India

Hi Guys,  Today I would like to discuss with you about the State - wise publicity given to different tourist destinations in India.  When movies are shot, the locations are selected to match with the movie. For eg:- If the scene of the movie is a family picnic, the location should also reveal the details that the family has come down for a picnic or so.  One of the famous and favourite spot for the movie directors which I would like to discuss today is the Athirappally Waterfalls located in Thrissur district of Kerala. Maniratnam movie, "Raavan", Rajamouli's latest flicks, "Bahubali" and "Bahubali 2" are some of the famous movies shot in this specific location. Athirappally Waterfalls of Kerala Vazhachal Falls is yet another small water falls located near to Athirappally waterfalls. Hi Guys, I was just pondering upon what to write for this week. I thought of a very interesting topic. How Indian Movies portray the different countries. Movies, especially Indian movies, despite the regional differences are shot abroad for many reasons. One of the reasons may be to promote the tourism of the particular country, of course, as a result of the tie-up with the tourism industry. Many Indian movies has also promoted different States in India too. Some of the movies are shot in different states because of the infrastructure and the facilities available. The best example for this type of shooting the movies is in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The name itself says it all! The film city provides different equipments for shooting on a rent basis. It is a good entertainment for common people which helps them in learning more about movies and the effort of different people in making a movie.
