Charminar

Charminar is a mosque as well as a monument located in Hyderabad, Telengana. It was built in 1591. This is a landmark building of Hyerabad and is one of the most recognized structures of India. Its literal translation is “Char – minar ” which means “Four towers ” It is said that the old city of Hyderabad had Char minar at its heart. The Charminar has four arches which faces four different directions of the city. The winding steps will lead the way to the top of the minar where Hyderabad city is visible clearly. The Beauty of Islamic architecture is clearly seen in detail if Charminar is observed closely. Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park

Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Nilgiri district of Tamil Nadu. The literal translation of Mudumalai is ‘old hills’. Mudumalai National Park was established in the year 1940. Ooty is the nearest city. It is one of the first wildlife sanctuaries in India which has its changing beauty according to the seasons. A good variety of flora and fauna lives in equilibrium in this forest. The specialty of this sanctuary is that special jeeps are provided to the tourists with tourists to see the forest and different species of animals. Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens

Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, also known as The Red Gardens, is located in Bangalore City in Karnataka District. The Garden was originally built by Hyder Ali, the then ruler of Mysore and later on completed by his son, Tipu Sultan. A famous glass house is situated in this garden which hosts Annual flower shows. It has a huge collection of tropical plants, a lake and an aquarium. This garden is one of the well-known tourist destinations in Bangalore, currently known as Bangaluru. It is said that this garden is created in a similar pattern of Mughal Gardens. It has a good collection of rare plants. Arthunkal Basilica/St Andrew’s Basilica

St Andrew’s Basilica or St Andrew’s Forane church is located in Arthunkal, which is a coastal town and a major pilgrimage centre which is located in Cherthala in Alappuzha District of the state of Kerala. The nearest railway station is Cherthala Railway station and the nearest airport is Nedumbassery Airport in Kochi. This Basilica is situated in Aleppey, the land of backwaters and lagoons where house boat rides attract the tourists. Tourism is a growing industry in India. India has a lot of historical places with traditional importance. There are special ministries in different state for tourism as well as a central ministry which takes care of protecting and preserving the monuments and places with historical importance. Tourism is a journey, may it be for recreation, as a leisure trip or for other religious purposes. Places with historical, religious and travel importance can be found in different places of the world. There are seven wonders of the world of which each wonders have their own importance.  Each destination has its own importance. Some places will depict the beauty and architecture of the place while some other place will have a story behind its origin and existence. This blog aims at bringing out the different tourist destinations so that tourists can explore different places which they have missed out or which will become a memory for them to cherish throughout their lives.

Travelling is a beautiful and serene experience. One will enjoy travelling to get out of their hectic and busy life.
